Office Administrator and Marketing Assistant

New Age Micro is a high energy, high tech company. We are looking for an energetic individual who is friendly, well spoken, very organized, self- motivated, and has great communication skills – both written and verbal. The successful candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:

  • Data entry in QuickBooks, purchasing and invoicing
  • Proficient with MS Office, especially in Word and Excel
  • Manages the day-to-day operations of the facility to ensure a properly functioning office
  • Pricing bill of materials for products
  • Assist with market research to determine potential of products and services
  • Assist with development and implement innovative marketing campaigns
  • Perform data entry and administrative duties
  • Routine IT tasks: review logs, monitor backups
  • Other tasks as directed, e.g., making occasional travel arrangements

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
  • Experience with QuickBooks
  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
  • Discretion and confidentiality of a personal assistant
  • Ability to work well in teams
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • 2 – 5 years’ experience
  • 2-year associate degree or equivalent in business, communication, or marketing

Hardware Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a hardware engineer to be a key contributor to join our team of engineering professionals. We are searching for a creative engineering professional who is a self-starter. The candidate should be proficient at both system and board-level designs with a solid background in analog and digital electronics as well as VHDL/Verilog development. We work in a team-based project environment, interacting across multiple disciplines (software/mechanical/PCB Layout engineers). This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a highly collaborative development team and apply acquired technical skills in a development environment. The successful candidate must be independent and self-motivated, with strong analytic skills and a creative thinker. He/She will have the opportunity for career advancement, as well as a chance to strengthen current skills and learn new ones.

Great Location: We are located in Mansfield, MA just a short distance from both routes I-95 and I-495.

What you need for this position:

  • Extensive background in hardware design and testing
  • Schematic entry (Altium, DxDesigner)
  • FPGA experience
  • Bill of Materials generation
  • Hands on board level circuit design of Analog/Digital electronics
  • PCB hardware debugging experience
  • Responsible for new hardware development
  • Support of PCB design and prototype builds
  • Able to collaborate with a team of software, mechanical, and PCB Layout engineers
  • Working knowledge of oscilloscopes, voltmeters, signal generators, logic analyzers
  • Working knowledge of switching power supplies/power conversion/battery technology
  • BSEE or similar academic background or comparable professional experience

The following is a plus:

  • PCB simulation (HyperLynx)
  • CE and UL testing experience
  • VHDL or Verilog experience
