Software Testing We implement a preliminary test plan based on the design specification, and a final test plan after the details of the product are understood. Diagnostics to test the initial prototype is the highest priority. |
Hardware Testing We provide a preliminary test plan based on the design specification, and a final test plan after a day of previewing the product. You can then optionally elect that we execute the test plan. In the past we have rented specialized equipment (e.g. Frequency Analyzer) as needed. |

Design Verification Modelsim and Hyperlynx are examples of the tools we use to verify hardware designs before submitting them to PCB layout, and verifying PCB layouts before they are fabricated. Accurate design verification is achieved by simulating the behavior of all inputs and outputs of every component on the PCB. The simulations are accurate because an IBIS model exists for all components on the board. The timing is verified, the impedance is controlled for all traces on the PCB, the power requirements are satisfied. |
PCB Design Simulation Hyperlynx (by Mentor Graphics) is used to verify the hardware design after PCB layout. It takes into account the length of signal paths and gaurantees signal integrity. |

EMI - RFI testing In order to pass EMI and RFI testing, a product has to be designed properly, then the testing process has to be properly managed. We have successfully completed this process for dozens of products. |
Automated Test Systems
We have implemented automated test systems for manufacturing environments. Our porting tools give us a method of converting different formats of scripts (control files) to accomodate new systems and platforms. |
Testing Services
We have the equipment and experience required to test both software and/or hardware products. We own advanced test and diagnostic tools to minimize the time to find errors and solutions. This includes logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, assortment of meters and tools, and an array of servers on a modern high speed internet backbone. All embedded products we design utilize the services described below.
